Quizizz AI is a question generator that creates, imports, enhances, and analyzes your quizzes. By eliminating the need for repetitive work, it allows you to focus on what truly matters – supporting each and every one of your participants.

How Quizizz AI works 

Quizizz AI is powered by a range of external AI systems, including OpenAI, Google, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, and Groq. These external systems do not store user data beyond the Service Level Agreement (SLA) required for debugging and do not use logs for model improvement. Internally, Quizizz logs user inputs and outputs, along with metadata (timestamps, user ID, errors), to improve user experience and safety. These logs are not currently used to build proprietary models but may be in the future.

What’s important for you to know about Quizizz AI’s capabilities is:

• It is currently limited to text-based commands and outputs
  • For PDFs with images, it specifically reads the text in your PDF to generate questions for you
•  At times, it could potentially produce inaccurate information about people, places, or facts.

1. Purposeful usage: Quizizz AI solely uses the inputs you provide to generate content for your lessons and quizzes. Your data's role is clear and specific.
2. Data privacy and storage: Just like the rest of Quizizz, we keep your and your participants' personal data untouched. OpenAI does not use any of your personal data to train its models. We retain the content you input solely to generate quizzes and provide you with the best possible results. Additionally, Quizizz AI checks for copyrights before using publicly available material. AI or not, you get to decide, always

1. Opt-In approach: The AI feature only springs into action when you decide to use it.
2. Upfront communication: Wherever the content has been generated with the assistance of AI, we make sure it is communicated upfront!

Safe for everyone

1. Exclusive to instructors: Quizizz AI is only available for instructors to use. There are no participant-geared AI capabilities on Quizizz.
2. Participant-friendly content: Our system includes automated reviews of input prompts, scanning for terms that might trigger inappropriate content.
3. Inclusive and responsible: We’re committed to minimizing bias and hate speech. Our prompts are continuously optimized to avoid the generation of harmful, offensive, abusive, or sexually explicit content. Additionally, GPT-4's inherent guardrails play a significant role in keeping outputs and users in check.

How can you make the best of Quizizz AI?

1. Be as clear and concise as possible with prompts and uploaded content
2. Review everything that is suggested since Quizizz AI is still in Beta 
3. Do not use Quizizz AI to generate harmful content, infringe any third-party rights, or defame anyone
4. If your content has a lot of images, optimize it for AI to work its magic
